I have kodi 19.3 on my firestick 4k and have been trying to add videos and music to my library and create one library for movies and tvshows from all my addons and trakt syncing but kodi doesn’t recognize what is on my usb drive how do I do that keep in mind I am a pretty basic user so please keep it as simple as u can

You are talking about two different content sources. If you are trying to add your own files to your library from a flash drive then you need to go through the Kodi settings. Go to media > library > videos > add videos. You need to point it to wherever the directory is where your videos are stored. You’ll do “scan to library” and it will grab the metadata from the internet. Also make sure to go back to the library settings and select “update library on startup”.
