Kodi Add-ons not working for me the past few days

Does anyone have any idea what is going on with Kodi, Crew, Umbrella? All links broken with active, good, and working real-debrid account. I open a favorite in kodi, and it doesn’t open, it goes to a menu page with files and addons, etc. If I open a the tv show menu it doesn’t open at all. It just blinks. Umbrella app says can’t connect with RD even though it’s authorized and listed there. Any of your expert advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

You should pull the error log and try to see what is causing this issue.

@DJFern, That is frustrating, for certain. The Crew has not been good that last few year. But the Umbrella addon has been the new go to for many here in the Insider.

If you wouldn’t mind could you open your real debrid account and check how many days you have left, please? Also, what device are you using?

Thanks Jimmy It says it’s not set for logging, but i can’t seem to set it to do so. When I try to access real debrid it also errors on that. It’s a mess

Thanks JerryJ. expeires in september and I reset the authorization for the crew and I can’t get umbrella to connect to real debird. I set it up when i installed it and it worked fine. Then I began getting errors of no real debrib acct. set up. Must set up in accounts and I couldn’t find that either. I’m about ready to uninstall both the crew and umbrella and coc scrapers. These addons require way to much maintenance. After 5 years of loving these addons, they just don’t work well any longer. There has to be a reason but I can’t locate any good information on correcting this. Thanks y’all.

@DJFern everything was working fine and then all of a sudden your addons quit? The most common cause is Real Debrid account has expired. But you are good until Sept.

You are saying that Umbrella won’t generate a RD code when you try to authorize it?

Umbrella has been working great for months. As @JerryJ pointed out your issue is most likely with Real Debrid. Have you tried Reauthorizing RD in Umbrella?

You could try using the Account Manager addon which should authorize your other addons. You can find it here -

Thanks JerryJ, real debird is a good active and working status. I’ve inspected the account and its all good. If not I would not be able to get rd stream for only one click movies in the crew. All tv shows saved are not opening, They go to a list that shows no thuimbnail of the show to open as normal, but instead it shows a menu beginning with files, and on down to video addons. None of these open the favorited/ saved show. They all worked fine for years but not now. When I open the crew and open movies for example and try trending movies it will flash and not open. It does that for all movies and all shows. When this first started about 5 months ago, i would just reboot my nvidia pro device and all thos thumbnail favs and everything worked until next startup. Also I might add that all of this began when I read about the addon for EZ Maintence for kodi/crew here a while ago. I added it this stuff started happening so i disabled it. Still the same thing.

Somebody might have a better idea. But if it were me, at this point, I would factory reset and start over from scratch. It just seems that you’ve got something going on that is causing the grief. I know, it seems kinda extreme. But from my viewpoint,you are sacrificing up time while trying to fix the issues.

I’m a very big fan of Kodi so I myself wouldn’t be able to bring myself to stop using it. It has just worked out so well for my needs.

PLEASE, if somebody has a better idea

I’d start with just uninstalling kodi and just starting over with kodi if everything else is working well with the device.

He hasn’t replied if he tried to Reauthorize RD on Umbrella yet. I think that is the issue. The Crew was great for years but is unreliable now

Hey JerryJ. Thanks for all your advice. After my last reply I decided to uninstall everything and begin again from scratch. That corrected everything. All is well and fine. Thanks my friend.

I’ve noticed sometimes you can’t re authorize in settings you have to open up the add-on and go to tools or some some say settings and then did the real-debrid authorizes .I’ve authorized through information ,settings and it didn’t work. Glad you fixed the problem so time starting over is best thing to do
