Hi! I hope this isn’t a stupid question. Are there any add-ons available where you can specify both a genre and year, like some of the apks can? My boyfriend and I are doing a history of horror movies thing-watching all we can. We started at 1896, and are now on 1998. The apks have gotten very disappointing. I hope this makes sense! TIA!

So a suggestion I have is dependent upon the add-ons you have installed in Kodi.
For example, in the Seren add-on, once you click on it to open it, you can scroll down through a list of options to choose from. One option that might interest you is titled: Popular Movie List.
Once you click on it, once it finishes loading, pages and pages populate of all different kinds of movies, genre’s, list of movies by genre, box sets, movies by timeline, etc.
I would recommend doing that kind of search to see if you can’t find what you are looking for.
You can do the same for TV Shows.
It’s a pretty cool feature.

Also if you want older movies my suggestion is Stremio, they seem to have a good catalog of older stuff.
As mentioned above seren and crew are your best kodi addons

My suggestion would be to find a list of the movies you want to watch online and bookmark it. You can use the search function in Kodi Add-ons to find a specific movie. Might take you an extra 10 seconds per movie to type it in.

Thanks so much for the feedback, you guys. I have Seren, The Crew, and The Boys. I will look further to see if I can get more specific. If nothing else, I will get the movie list from the apks, but watch them on Kodi. More reliable, and yep, I always have RD. Thanks again!
