Hey folks, I have followed TroyPoint instructions for installing Superman as shown in his video. I never get the skin showing exactly the same as in the video. It’s kinda like an Estuary skin. I am not familiar with skins and changing them ever. Whenever I’ve installed something with Troypoint’s tutorials, I always end up exactly with what he shows. BTW, in his video he is using a Firestick 4K Max which IS what I’m using as well. If anyone could tell me how in step fashion to get Superman Build with the skin Troypoint get would be much appreciated.
Not sure what version of Kodi or Superman build is on troys video. That could be the reason for a different look.
I’ll see if I can download the build as troy shows.
The video I found for SM on TP was for kodi 20. You are using kodi 21. When you selected to downloaded the build it should have said Superman Omega.
That is most likely the reason there is a difference.
Well i was going to explain how to change skins but it seems the SM build doesn’t like that. The default Amber skin is the only one compatible with the build.
If you want to test on your own…
-From main screen go to Superman
-Then interface settings
-Then move to right and select Skin
-Choose a skin
I tried Confluence and Estuary and neither worked with the build. The other option was for touch screen so I didn’t bother.
Hi, Thank you for the quick action.
I tried to use previous Kodi Nexus with Superman but when you go to get the build, there is ONLY the build compatible with 21 Omega. I found that there is not an option to pick Superman with Kodi Nexus (20.5). I found this to be the same with Aspire build as well. Aspire doesn’t offer a compatible Nexus build either.
Suggestions? I wish Troy would redo a video or two with the corrections. He has be so spot on previously.
Most Build Dev’s phase out working Addons on older versions of KODI. You really should be on KODI 21 Omega. Plenty of working Builds for that
Yeah like @MarkxG said, many developers move on to the newer kodi and dont keep the older versions available. There were nexus builds available in that wizard. Maybe one of them is similar to the SM nexus.
Troy’s video is a helpful way to show you the steps on how to successfully install the build. Which it does. He cant keep on top of every build for new skins or other updates.
You may want to look in the build or do a search on how to contact the developer. Some of them can be open to getting suggestions or questions. I dont know anything about the build or developer so I can’t help you there.
Thank you
