KODI 21 crashes when trying to install DIGGZ on Firestick

When I click on install from zip file, KODI crashes and my firestick goes back to the home screen. Any help please would be hugely appreciated.

Do you have space on your FS for kodi and the build?

Usually when i install a build and i use Diggz, kodi will reset itself a few times after loading the repository and the build. But i dont use FS anymore.

I dont remember it closing/resetting at the zip file.

What FS verion are you using? The developer really prefers non FS devices. They seem to give them the most issues.

It does show how to add the zip and then access it. Here are some more resources so you can follow the instructions. Just have to go step by step. I highly recommend having instructional vids running on your phone or a tablet while you follow along on your streaming device. That way you can pause and even backup the instructions if you missed something.

One more quick note. Fire OS 6 is old, the last Fire OS is 8, so you may run into difficulties with an older device. With the way Firesticks are going, especially with the upcoming Vega OS, and although I dislike them, I might suggest spending $20 and get an ONN to learn on and move away from the Amazon Architecture.
Also the following shows you how to use the TP Toolbox and use the tutorials.

There is a lot to learn and unfortunately this is something that only you can do for yourself. At first Kodi seemed so daunting to me and I literally installed and uninstalled stuff many many times before I got it working, and I’m not a patient person. You may want to try a fork to begin with.

I dont know what that software version means. Is it a new(er) FS?

Do you have the space available?

Have you allowed for unknown sources?

This is not Kodi, but a lot of us use it here and is free until you associate it with real debrid. You set it up on a computer And once you’re done, you can put it on your firestick.

Fire OS. 6.7.0.5 is a 2019 release. Been a while since I played with these sticks but if I remember correctly OS 6 will not Update to OS 7, so you can imagine how much a 5 yr old Fire OS is missing.
