Very odd. I have a shield pro and no problems with Stremio sound here. I remember this came up a few months back and had to do with the TV’s sound settings. Can’t remember the exact fix. Have to do some searching.
For anybody having the volume issue with this box, I found something that might help, it did for @2thperry, you have to use google assistant on the box and have it increase the volume to max.
Say “Hey Google” or press the button to talk to your Assistant, then say a command:
Increase: Turn it up. (Increases volume by 10%).
Decrease: Turn it down. (Decreases volume by 10%).
Set a specific level or percent: Volume 5. Volume to 65%.
Change volume by amount: Increase volume by 10%. Decrease volume by 10%.
Maximize: Max volume.
Minimize: Minimum volume.
So maybe try:
“Hey Google: set volume to max”
Lots of laugh Miki, that’s the problem of utilizing the Max k remote on my shield Pro. The talks text is two different companies one’s Alexis and the other one is good old Google. LOL!!!
Dang Miki, My Echo Show went rogue, read your post and is now in a fit of uncontrollability. It’s randomly scrolling through volume settings all the while saying “ALL OF YOUR IPTV BELONGS TO US” Its showing a mashup of re-runs of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers interspersed with two lost episodes of Beavis and Butt-Head. After I did a reset, at least its now showing Reacher and Ancient Aliens!!!
Just be glad it wasn’t RuPaul! LOL!

use your tv remote later to increase volume
I have been using this box daily as my main box for 3 months now. This is a great box. It just works and works works. I didn’t add any extra memory. I don’t use Kodi. The volume issue is similar to the km7 cool volume issue. I have a post on that in this forum.
I have used the T95Z box as well. The G1 is a far superior box. Just set it up and it works and works.
