Agree with TXRon. I tried Kemo. There are a ton of channels and VOD on it but also a ton of buffering. Like a lot of these services that have a bunch of foreign channels, Kemo would be better served if it had fewer channels, better bandwidth and use of their servers. It sure isn’t my internet or LAN connection that caused the problems I had with Kemo.

I agree, I got rid of Kemo after a few months.

I think the service is very good with a great amount of content and channels. They have had some downtime recently, but nothing terrible if you have a backup service to get you through that. Customer service is quick, overall one of the better ones.

I’m with AMD. I have had the service for several months and will be renewing. I never have any major buffering and should I have channel issues their CS responds in a timely manner, usually within an hour. You can request whatever Bouquet you want and they will accomodate you. Good price, good selection, good customer service. All I need in one stop. I’m a happy camper. Oh and the price is great. I have 5 connections.

It’s ok, but I currently have 4 services. Two of the 4 are the same service. Didn’t know Kemo and another one of services is a reseller of Kemo. So basically, I have 3 services and Kemo is last on my list of go to services. Like I said, they are okay, but my other 2 services are much better in quality of streams. Although, Kemo does offer an abundant and variety of channels and they are reasonably priced with easy methods of pymt.

I may be limiting my services by the end of the month to just 2 services. I definitely will keep my #1 primary premium service and decide between Kemo and another (premium) service I have. Kemo is half as expensive as the other service I am considering keeping. Prevailing logic would seem to keep the less expensive service ($5 bucks a month) as a backup because …it’s just a backup! Meaning you really only use it on the rare occasions your primary service is disrupted. Although, the other service is more stable and if/when I NEED to use my backup. I want one that would have less issues to deal with.

Btw, both premium services I have are presently closed to new subscribers and that is the reason I may keep that service as opposed to the lesser expensive Kemo. Because once I leave the premium service there is no guarantee I will be able to resubscribe with them in the future.

Bottom line, Kemo is a good service to have, but there are much better services out there for an increase in price. Kemo at $5 bucks a month is about the least expensive you can find.

What “better” services are there? Please name your services so we can try them. I presently have 7 services but use KemoSat exclusively due to the excellent quality of feeds and picture. Not sure why I would have that much better of a service than you get PF but simply could be up to your ISP or infrastructure. There are so many good quality and inexpensive IPTV providers that we can try until we find the one, or ones, we like.
Have fun and STREAM ON!

You can’t try them because they are closed to new subscribers, and they usually only open up shop 1-2 times a year at best.

I can’t comment on what your service is like nor your parameters of judgment for quality. All I can attest to is that my other two premium services are more stable and have a more complete epg. Albeit a bit more expensive, but I have less issues with the quality of streams.

I will continue to keep the Kemo service for now, but it is difficult to justify the additional cost for 2 backup services. One backup is more than sufficient! So, my choice is either Kemo for $5 a month, or the more expensive service at $15 a month. Either way whichever one I choose will be my backup service. Kemo is good and cheap, but I can get that service anytime. Whereas my other service, although more expensive, imho is better quality, but doesn’t offer subscriptions but a couple a times a year. Which means they are more difficult to get on short notice.

The main reason I have a backup service isn’t so much as an alternative to use in case my primary service has issues. Rather, I have a backup service in case my primary service is abruptly shut down.

Fyi, I am currently watching a channel on Kemo and am experiencing no issues, but I have experienced multiple issues streaming in the past and ended up out of routine using one of my other services.

I am not saying Kemo is bad at all. They are good. Just not as good as my other two. Also, I wouldn’t be surprised if they get hit because of the all the advertising they do.

At the end of the day everyone will choose their personal favorite service as their go-to service for whatever reason is important to them. Besides, you can only watch one at a time anyway, unless you do multi-screens.

That’s a shame about closed sites. They really are smart as this way it’s less likely their servers will get overloaded. As time goes on I will get a second service to try, but looking for users, like yourself, who have experience with these suppliers. I am in no hurry but hopefully I can snag one of these supposed better services to try.

Many closed sites are actually re-sellers who limit membership. Its a great idea if the original is good. But I say go with what works. Like I said kemo works for me but I too have a closed sub and its more expensive ($30 for 3 months)…well not really

I found kemo was having channels that constantly buffered or didn’t load. I tried for a month and let it go. My main service is closed and I have very few issues with it, if I do I hit their support up and it’s fixed. I am looking for backup as well. I have tried almost everyone on here suggested. I haven’t tried services that don’t support tivimate as I hate the apps. I currently have voodoo but it’s pretty bad about not loading channels lots of dead channels. I wish I could find something with only Canada, US and UK. My main service doesn’t have VOD which is the only drawback.

Ya see I find it odd with those experiencing any issues with KemoSat. I rarely have any buferring and all my channels load just fine. It’s my main source with 3 backups that rarely get used. I did experiment for the first month with server locations for the VPN and my best ones are Dallas or NY. Every service I have does get the odd buffering but usually I just play around with buffer settings in TiViMate and it’s fixed.

I have Kemo/KemoSat (dropping down to one of those when subs are up) both at the moment. I do not have the issues, at least hardly at all, that are being described above. I mentioned the couple times the server went out for a brief time, but I still stick to that they are a very good and solid service. Love the 24/7 selection, pretty well organized too. Responsive customer service.

Miki, you might give ITTech Basics or TyphoonLabs a shot as they are excellent and still acccepting new customers.

Typhoon labs has it’s own app and I use TiViMate. I have seen ITTech but did not like it. Thanks though for the suggestions.

Are Kemo and Kemosat the same service? If not is one better than the other? I have 3 services right now but always looking to try something new. Apollo blew me away with how nice their app is. You can tell they put alot of time into it and seem to care about their service too.

KemoSat I believe is Lemo. There are a few subs they have like Lemo.

KemoSat + Lemo + Dozenz = Kemo

These are 3 that I know of. Most likely are more.

I liked Apollo, too, but their only payment option is either BTC or Cash App using BTC. But you’re right. They seem to have an excellent service! Although, their CS is a bit weird. They ended up calling me several times to get me to buy their service. Never in my time in cord cutting has a service have their CS call potential subs. sPo0Ky… :ghost:
