I’ve really only used Debian/Ubuntu based distros for years and tried a few different ones and yes, Mint is definitely my preferred distro, at least until something else comes around.
Will it run Google Chrome?

TXRon thanks for the post been doing some research on switching to linux becaue my pc will not run windows 11 and when support ends could be a problem for window 10 users and nothing is wrong with my pc to have me buy a new one for there greedy profit margins
So gratifying to see fellow LInux Users speaking up! YES! Switched to linux back in 2005 and never looked back. Now I focus on productivity instead of trying to keep Windoze working. Haven’t used nor needed an anti-virus in all that time. I usually recommend that’newbies’ focus on the distros with a wider support base - Ubuntu & Pop-Os are my flavors of choice. I have friends that use and like Mint as well. It’s real easy to try before you commit. Go Linux!
