I have a Firestick 4K max and a Firestick 4K. Everytime I load Kodi 19.4 after a week or 2 Kodi will stop working and the app wont even try to load causing me to have to delete,re-install it then reload the same add ons I had on before. I really only use The Crew now thinking some of the other add ons were the issue and it happens regardless. Was curious if anyone had this same issue and a possible resolution to it?
Do you clear your cache regularly? You should clear it daily. I do not use a firestick, but an android TV box and I clear my cache daily on all my apps. That is the only thing I can think of. I am sure the resident firestick guru, Miki, will chime in. He is an expert in firesticks.

I no longer use Kodi, I haven’t for months. When I did, I added Open Wizard (cleaner/maintenance) and set up a cleaning schedule based upon a cleaning every time I opened Kodi. This kept it fresh and running at peak condition. I also used the “optimization” file for a low Ram device like the Firestick.

Yeah that doesn’t make any sense, I have Kodi on multiple sticks all gens and can leave them for months without any issues of Kodi firing up. Maybe your stick in general is too low in storage and needs a complete cleaning as you do with the app Miki said. Otherwise do it manually.

I have 3 firesticks 4k with kodi and 12 addons , never any issues with them, I don’t use any builds just my own , and clean the cache weekly. I would check if you have enough memory left and do a factory reset and fresh install.

I have a 4k max and it just stopped working last night. I’ve updated it using Troypoint and it still won’t open beyond the 1st page.Only a blank page
Clear your cache,go into manage applications then go to Kodi and click on that and it’ll have the Clear Cache option…that seemed to fix my issue with it.also if you are close to being out of room on your firestick buy the extended storage…I ended up deleting all old apps that I didn’t use and clearing the cache on the ones I did use.
So whoever gave me that advice THANK YOU
