ISP, Surfshark VPN, & IPTV

I recently received a telephone call from my ISP (Internet Service Provider) that I was violating their Terms of Service Agreement. When I asked how, they stated that my SuperBOX (Android TV media box) had engaged in illegal network activity and that I had to disconnect it. I didn’t acknowledge or deny that I had a SuperBOX, nor that I would ignore what he was telling me regarding the network, but I did state that I would check my internal network and see what was going on. Now, I can honestly state to Troypoint subscribers that I do have a SuperBOX, I am always running Surfshark VPN, and I have subscribed (and been using) Amber Baby’s Strong 8k IPTV. The Surfshark VPN has been connected to a Detroit server whenever the VPN has been engaged. I also have the Surfshark software option that disconnects from the internet if and whenever the VPN loses connection turned on.

Considering the Surfshark software status, does anyone have any idea how my ISP could have detected the SuperBOX or any APK that could have been running? Apparently, I was under the false assumption that running the Surfshark VPN would hide and protect any internet activity.

I am a not a newbie to the SuperBOX (I have owned one for 2 years and not had any issues), but I am a newbie to Amber Baby’s IPTV service. Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated.
