Hi everyone. I read an article saying that ur isp service can block ur vpn. Is that true? If so, how would you know their doing that?
Incorrect, they can see you have a vpn but it’s not illegal at all. If they did block service you can fight it as it’s illegal for them to deny service you pay for because of a vpn.
Also just for peace of mind if you use Analiti they have a VPN check that shows the ip address that is being broadcasted. Also I think it’s called dnsleaktest.com put that in your browser and it will show if there is anything besides what your vpn is showing as your ip address.
I’ve been using surfshark for over a year, it has quite a few protocols to bamboozle an ISP. U can try for free I think, I got it quite cheap as they often offer deals. I have no association with them just stating my experience
I use IPVanish and my internet provider instantly sent a message saying it detected me using a VPN and discouraged using it. I just set the VPN to scramble mode and have not had a problem since.
