I downloaded this app off of the Play Store because I watch a bunch CW stuff. I just clicked on it for the first time and select a show. The show launched and played. Then it abruptly stopped, not buffering, it just quit and took me back to their home page. I tried a few other shows and they all did the same thing,play fine for a few minutes and then stop.
So I am wondering if all this app does is play previews? Anyone else installed this app?

I saw that, but I assumed they were the same app. I figured it was a legit app coming from the Play Store, but I am out one more sip of my cocktail away frow deleting it.
Who just watches previews anyway. It’s like an app for Bezos bloatware! Lol?
It might be previewing because it wants a provider login.
I just now uninstalled and reinstalled. I also downloaded the The CW Seed app, but the disclaimer reads it is the same app as The CW app. I n both of the descriptions it says nothing about only being a preview app. I’m hoping the re-install fixes it.

No, my is v.2.13.1 the one on my tablet is this you just posted. This works! So, I am going to try to download it from APKPure and see what happens. I’ll post back in a few minutes.
Update: downloaded the apkpure one and it seems to be working. It doesn’t let me scroll using my remote very well. So, fortunately I have a working Mouse Toggle and am able to navigate around the app using the mouse.
None-the-less, the app loaded fine. I am able to select shows. The shows seem to be playing properly. Sound and picture quality are very good, and the show is still playing past where it quit before!
I have version b9 on my tablet that I downloaded from the Play Store. The v. 2.13.1 was on my Shield. I uninstalled that one and installed this one from apkpure. I think this version is made for tablets and phones touchscreen optimization and the other is supposed to be for devices. That would explain the navigation issues on my shield. I don’t experience that on my tablet using the touchscreen.
Also, there are more settings options on this app as opposed to the device app.

The CW app plays perfectly on Roku TVs and ROKU Streaming devices but will not play a series or movie on my ONN 4K Pro or Nvidia shield pro. The app will download but when trying to play I get an error msg
I tried with Nord VPN on and Split Tunnel on and off.
Any assistance is appreciated Thanx in advance.
Are you using an ad blocker? In that case it displays “Something went wrong during payback” and Error Code: 0
It really doesn’t like ad blockers.
