I installed (sportsfire.tv) on all my devices, four Firesticks and two Walmart ONN devices. On the Firesticks sportsfire plays well. On the ONN devices they disable the app every time I reinstall it. I researched and turned off (Scan Apps with Play Protect) and I am now waiting to see if Android disables the app. My specific question is: “Is this app harmful as they say?”
My next question is: The app plays well on all the 1080P TV’s. On the 4K TV the picture is a little bit washed out and a little unclear. Is there anything that can be done, providing the app is safe, to correct this issue?

It’s safe at least I’ve not heard anything about it that says otherwise but I’m sure Play Protect sees it as a piracy apps so it kills it. I don’t have any issue with the picture between devices they don’t stream at a high bitrate but it’s passable for a free ad-free app.
Glad to hear you are problem free. Do you watch on a 4K TV?
Do you have it installed on an Walmart ONN device?
That is where my issues lie.

On the new ONN boxes with the Google OS , I can got to security settings then play protect and turn off the harmful app setting. On the older version of the ONN boxes with just straight Android OS, I cant find the setting and a little window pops up and says removed harmful app and sportsfire disappears. I just reinstall it and it comes back for a day or 2 or a few hours. Anyone know where the settings are in the Android OS? I have tried the settings in Google play store… still nothing
I have the old Onn box and to stop the Sportsfire app from being uninstalled, you have to do the following:- Settings/Security & Restrictions/ Verify apps needs to be disabled.
Hope this helps
