I have been using Vanish for a couple of years and just noticed when I
am searching for a business near me it shows the city I’m in even using a foreign server. Should this happen?

Get vpn safety dot
It runs in the background and puts a dot or thumb icon in the top right corner if your screen. If the vpn is running then you will not see your home ip addy.

The VPN is on my computer as well. That is where I’m having this issue.

Could run a DNS leak test to make sure your ISP ip address is being cloaked.
