went on azn to look for new router. in less than a minute i had an email from my isp offering an up grade router deal. shouldn’t the vpn shield me from this? i have nrd. tried again later. same thing.not a coincidence.

I would imagine thats more of a browser issue…just a guess
Your isp has access to their supplied modem. So they may have been sending you an email to upgrade on there network does not mean it was connected. Anytime you are off your vpn this could happen.
Probably more browser anyway. I mean you are signed on to your account on amazon regardless if you have a vpn on.
