IPVanish problem - billing problem solved!

In October I changed my VPN to SurfShark. Before I did I went to IPVanish and disbabled the auto-renew button. The following month (Nov. 2024) they billed me for $106.70! To make a long story short I filed a dispute with my credit card company (had to jump through various hoops with Visa). After many email exchanges they decided to refund the charge back to my account. It took many weeks but they could have kept it until I filed all the paperwork for Visa. I was not wanting to go through all that since they wanted documentation, which I did not have. They only had my word that I disabled auto-renew. So be careful if you switch!
