šŸ“ŗ IPTV Services Detail

I’m wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I’m in the market for a new primary and backup service because my other services have all gone offline. I’ve signed up for a month with ITTech and B2B because I saw them listed in this thread as been pretty good. I cannot get either service to work with NordVPN. When I disconnect they both work. Are VPNs not allowed for these services? I prefer to use a VPN when using any service. Any help is greatly appreciated.

@Reece I believe my Streaming Bro Reece is knowledgeable of this service so I’m waking him up from his nap to share.

welcome

I was able to get it working. A setting in NordVPN threat protection was turned on following a update more than likely.

Thank you. I was able to get it working. This link helped

Somebody say ā€œCakeā€?.. Or am I still dreaming??

Death Wish + Cake sounds good about now.

MmmMM - I’ll take two!

Sorry I had to wait to comment again. NordVPN has threat protection turned on by default after an update. Turned that feature off and it started working.

What’s the problem using xtream codes? I’ve only used that but since I have the option to use M3U, why is it a better option?

@3825_968 sapphire still adds customers but you have to be invited by someone who has it . It’s 13.99 a month . It comes with 5 connections .

???. Nothing wrong with using Xtreme codes. I like them as they are easier than m3u.

not many channels though. I just dumped them in my culling efforts. many other providers out there with better selections and prices.

@Reece I get it but with what I got . I can’t decide on what I want to watch anyways . Lol

After using Layerseven for all of 2025 it started getting funky towards the end of the year so I decided to look elsewhere. Settled on Sonix after reading bunches of good reviews. Mistake. Paid for 1 year and from the get go nothing but trouble. I contacted them (not easy to do) to cancel and get a refund (good luck with that) . Thought I’d give Layerseven another chance for 1 month. Terrible. Searched another and found Viking iptv. Very easy to contact them and payment was a breeze. Within minutes they sent the setup credentials. A minor glitch in setup but they responded instantly through WhatsApp and everything works really well. None of these services are going to be perfect but this one seems to be doing the job pretty well so far and they are priced very competitively.

Bought a lifetime subscription from Xtreme IPTV in 2023. Figured if it lasted 3 years I would’ve done okay. It lasted about 2 years; Dish Network sued them and they shut down. Received an email this morning stating they’re back and they’re offering a 50% discount. I clicked the link in the email and was able to login to my account using credentials from their prior website. My lifetime subscription is listed on the ā€œMy Servicesā€ page but when I click on it, there are no user credentials available. The invoice I paid back in 2023 is also accessible via this website, so it’s either the same people who ran it originally or they sold their setup to someone else. Regardless, they are refusing to honor the lifetime subscriptions that were sold previously. I suppose there’s no honor among thieves! I highly advise that everyone steer clear of them.

For all the streaming gurus here, I never knew what HEVC was when seeing it in categories in IPTV subs. So I googled it. Sounds like it’s ALWAYS gonna be a preferred source of watching if we have that category to choose from? What do you all do? I never even paid attention until recently. Shocking I know. I’m in a streaming coma much of the time. If the picture is decent, I consider that a win. Thank you all.

Often I see hevc and also raw. I’ll post what Google said below. As for me I’ve learned to trust my eyes :eyes:. I use Tivimate so I always check quick to see what it’s reporting for the signal, whether HD 30fps or FHD 60fps, 4K 60fps or whatever. I check whatever I’m watching on different sources but I’ve found in certain cases even though Tivimate reports one as fhd, I may find one that’s hd but just obviously has a better picture so that’s the one I choose. :person_shrugging:

Google:

HEVC (H.265) is better for efficiency, smaller file sizes, and general sharing, while RAW is superior for professional post-production, offering maximum image data, color grading flexibility, and superior detail. HEVC is ideal for 4K streaming and mobile storage, whereas RAW is essential for high-end photography/cinematography, such as on the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

HEVC (H.265) - Best for Convenience & Storage

Pros: ~50% better compression than H.264, smaller file sizes, high quality for 4K/UHD, excellent for streaming.

Cons: Higher computational load to encode, not universally supported on older devices.

Best Use: General daily video recording, streaming, storage-conscious projects.

RAW - Best for Quality & Editing

Pros: Retains all sensor data, unparalleled flexibility in post-production (exposure, white balance), higher detail.

Cons: Massive file sizes, requires high-performance computing power to edit.

Best Use: Professional photography/video, commercial work, high-contrast scenes needing deep editing.

Key Takeaways

If you want to edit heavily: Choose RAW.

If you want to save space/share easily: Choose HEVC.

iPhone Note: HEVC (with Apple Log) is great for everyday use, while ProRes RAW (or Apple Log) is best for 4K professional quality.

@GraceWilson your getting all Techie on us! Just make sure whatever service you are using has the ā€œAntiFreezeā€ Technology   :joy:
