Anyone else noticed that on booting up Kodi 20 an error is displayed " Iptv client migration error" is displayed but everything works as normal this seems to have developed since addons updated in the last few days??
I have 3 firesticks and a windows 11 laptop , Android phone all have the same issue.?
I don’t know what’s going on, but most of my iptv subs have lost a ton of channels, most Cdn. This may be part of the iptv streaming suppliers and their “news” war with Canada. Just guessing. Now out of 5 suppliers only 1 has the channels. Some even supplied me with new server addresses, so that may be a similiar or same service issue in kodi.
I dont think so, Kodi has its own issues with iptv. it’s probably just not being maintained as we always see with kodi.
What you are talking about is a separate issue. And that bill isnt here yet.
Okie dokie @TP-Dracoo . It seemed to be an issue with all iptv services across North America. That’s why I thought it might be a problem that spread through the Kodi sources as well. Just a thought. Have a good day.
Well, its an issue yes. The government is trying however i don’t think its effecting anyone yet. Im not entirely sure. It’s also possible that providers are just dropping Canadian news anyway. Nobody wants to see controlled media its bs. I do believe that where he is getting iptv from kodi is the issue. Kodi always has issues with iptv. My suggestion try others.
kryten, i’m having the same problem on my 2017 nvidia shield and 3rd gen firestick. only started after the iptv client update. i do not have any iptv services installed. i get the error message everytime i open kodi. this is the kodi iptv client add-on. we can’t be the only ones having this issue.hoping for a fix soon.
If you are referring to daddy live kodi addon as mentioned alot of kodis iptv is poorly maintained so probably have to wait for a fix or move on.
I’ve solved it, i uninstalled iptv client in my addons.
