Installing Kodi on an iPad

I’ve done extensive searching on how to install Kodi on an iPad without jailbreaking, but haven’t had any luck.
I’m working with an iPad running 16.6.1.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?

If you go to kodi.tv you can download a version for Mac OS

Sorry, that doesn’t make sense? If you have downloaded it, then open it. Unless it’s not executable it should install.
