Troy points out that we can manually install FEN repository in Kodi and showed us how to do it in firestick and android. My question: Is there a way to manually install it the same way in Kodi using window 11? I have Kodi installed in my laptop.
Thanks.
You can manually install anything very easily on a Windows laptop. Just download the zip and save it to your desktop or folder of your choice. Then when choosing to install the addon or repo, click install from zip file and then browse to your desktop or folder in which you saved the zip. Although I should add that the regular repo url is back up and working, so you don’t have to do the manual install. It’s https://tikipeter.github.io
I am having a similar problem but this time on a Mac laptop. I have installed Kodi 20.2 for OS on my laptop. I was surprised to see it came with Crew already loaded (Perhaps because I use crew on the last Kodi install on the laptop that I deleted.). I prefer Fen. I was able to down load the zip file but here doesn’t appear to be any “Instal from zip file” or “Install from repository” commands.
Hello @me2troy you no longer need to use the manual install as the dev brought back the installation URL.
Just follow our updated screenshot guide at the following link on any device running Kodi.
Worked like a charm, thank you Troy. Much appreciated
