i am using kodi 20.0 i have been facing problem while using scrubs v2 and crew for a while now . whenever i try playing something on both of these i says caould not connect and other errors also pop up some time.

know this is an old thread but starting last month I can load anything using scrubs 2
It loads fine, finds tv shows, movies, shows streams but when i click on them, nothing opens>
I loved scrubs as i dont use debrid
any ideas? Have uninstalled and reinstalled
running latest kodi

I’m sorry but you are fairly limited without using a debrid service these days. You are certainly not completely out of working threads but overall it is going to be dismally bleak. Elementum may be your best bet but please make sure that you are using a VPN as these are torrents.

The Crew and Scrubbs V2 no longer pull in any free links. You need to use a debrid-type service to get them to work. Diggs123 still provides lots of free links, as do the Cinema and Nova TV apks.
Having trouble with the crew also, cannot get it to add file source in file manager. Never had issue putting addons on kodi before. Message says: “Unable to connect. Couldn’t retrieve directory information. This could be due to the network not being connected. Would you like to add it anyway?”Never had this trouble before. Just got new ATT high speed service, old firestick stopped working, tried reloading kodi and adding crew and would not work. Bought new firestick and loaded kodi and it won’t work either when trying to add the crew. Kodi seems to download and open fine but other addons won’t load either. Internet working good with all other devices. Anyone else seeing this or any ideas to correct it?

The Crew addon for Kodi stopped being actively maintained and updated, leading to issues like broken links and slow performance, and users are now advised to switch to newer, actively supported alternatives such as Fen, POV, or Umbrella for streaming content. The Crew, as a legacy add-on, is no longer receiving updates to keep up with streaming source changes.

Note: I just noticed that the one addon listed, Fen, should be Fen Lite AM.

Yup, The Crew is pretty much dead (shame). You may be able to still get some links with a debrid account but no free links any longer. Same with Scrubbs. Fen, POV, or Umbrella for debrid account links or Free123 (Diggz123) for free links……. for now.
