I heard the new Amazon OS update wonât let firestick users use certain iptvâs. Could this be true? My provider told us weâd have to buy Nvidia shield or shield.
@TROYPOINT Regarding updates on router. I put those 3 URLâs into the URL filter. My test was to use a 4k firestick and selected the âCheck for updatesâ and comes back with âYour Fire Tv is up to dateâ. Is there possibly more URLâs that need to be blocked? Only using 4K stick as I have already put hack on 2 cubes and 4k max.

Hello, many times the way you input the URL into your router matters. In my Asus router I had to only add the url without the http:// as it I added that it didnât work. Other router brands, itâs vice versa and you must input the http:// with the URL.

I had to put www. before name, it wouldnât accept http://. It took a while before it started working. Fire Stick 4k getting âUpdate errorâ now.

Ordered 4K max on Amazon and received this morning. Was able to get the hack installed using your Block Amazon Updates on Router video (using www. instead of http://) . I was unable to use the android phone method, wouldnât connect. After I installed hack, I was able to factory reset and reinstall the hack. I noticed that Amazon Prime doesnât work any more as the app needs an update from Amazon. Thank you @TROYPOINT!!

Does this mean it did not work on my end? I blocked updates and installed Projectivy and LM, but when I select âGoâ in FireTV Toolbox it shows as connected while the launcher still will not open. Projectivy launches without any issue, but the actual launcher will not load.
