Tried numerous times to install ABSOLUTION kodi addon but can not get Orion to work properly with it. There’s a place in tools section specifically to link Orion and I do have Orion working with other addons that its supposed to work on but every time I try with ABSOLUTION, I keep getting, Orion error invalid app api key.
Does anyone know what the heck I’m missing

Orion version 5.0.1
Kodi version 21.1
Sorry don’t know anything about that Addon but is there a specific reason you need it? The great thing with KODI is if you are having trouble with an Addon there are several others that are working and do the exact same thing. Have you tried Umbrella with Cocoscrapers? Been using it for several months. Fast and Flawless

that’s the only reason. I figured since I already pay for Orion I’d like to take advantage of all the addons that are compatible. I was just on Telegram and one of the developers told me its the addon itself that needs fixing so I guess I found my answer and have to wait for a fix from the developer.

The build I use has the Chains repo on it so I added the Absolution addon out of curiosity.
Do i need Orion for this to work when its back up? I am a little confused why you pay for Orion.

It’ll work fine with just RD but Orion will also find links if you want extra. In the odd case you may get a 4k link that RD wont have. Probably overkill but I’m always looking for a bit more.

Its back up and running if you want to use it. Just happened to check today and it showed it updated. Tested a movie and it worked.
Are you using Orion? I’m still getting invalid api key error for Orion. The developer said I have to wait up to 48 hrs before Orion has an update to integrate it. It is working with RD though.

No just Absolution. I think i authorized RD too but not 100% sure yet. I assume it is since the movie played but i cant find the setting in the addon. I used account manager to authorize but it doesnt show on my list.

I cant find what you are showing.
The closest i found was Absolution Scrapers Settings under Providers. But i couldn’t find Universal Resolvers settings.
