Can anyone please help me with suggestions on how to get sports fire not to buffer so much or suggest a different app to watch hockey
I never have buffering issues with sportsfire. I find the event I want to watch, see where it originates and switch to a server near there.

I’ve tried that and it still buffers. Should I uninstall it and reinstall it?

Ok. So several things on a firestick. Keep free space to 1.5Gbs or more. Do not plug into the TV USB for power. When having major issues clear your app caches, then unplug the stick from the hdmi port, disconnect the power from both the TV and stick and wait for a few minutes. While waiting cycle your modem. Once the Modem has restarted and the lights have stopped blinking, plug the TV and stick power back in, then plug the stick into the HDMI port and turn everything back on and wait for the stick to reboot. Then give it another try now.

hopefully that worked. I actually had the same issue but finally upgraded to the new firestick w more storage. low storage causes plenty of buffering
There must have been a flood of people jumping on the app for the sports season a few months ago because it’s too many people on it devs have been fixing the app to adapt to all the people on it now but a lot of people have been experiencing buffering during peak times. Free apps take time to adapt due to limited funds behind the app eventually it’ll be fixed hopefully
