Can anyone please help me with suggestions on how to get sports fire not to buffer so much or suggest a different app to watch hockey
I never have buffering issues with sportsfire. I find the event I want to watch, see where it originates and switch to a server near there.

I’ve tried that and it still buffers. Should I uninstall it and reinstall it?
What device are you using?

Ok. So several things on a firestick. Keep free space to 1.5Gbs or more. Do not plug into the TV USB for power. When having major issues clear your app caches, then unplug the stick from the hdmi port, disconnect the power from both the TV and stick and wait for a few minutes. While waiting cycle your modem. Once the Modem has restarted and the lights have stopped blinking, plug the TV and stick power back in, then plug the stick into the HDMI port and turn everything back on and wait for the stick to reboot. Then give it another try now.

hopefully that worked. I actually had the same issue but finally upgraded to the new firestick w more storage. low storage causes plenty of buffering
There must have been a flood of people jumping on the app for the sports season a few months ago because it’s too many people on it devs have been fixing the app to adapt to all the people on it now but a lot of people have been experiencing buffering during peak times. Free apps take time to adapt due to limited funds behind the app eventually it’ll be fixed hopefully
SOS To all knowledgeable people since i couldn’t find anything with my one and now more problems.
when opened the sports fire a message aske to update I tried but it wouldn’t go thru then a message with a code popped up with a code I went to downloader and TP and used a code he suggested that didn’t work I thought something is wrong with the downloader app so I deleted that since yesterday i have been going to the magnifying glass(search) to install downloader but I get
"App not found " where and how can I install the downloader and is there a problem with sports fire not getting updated?. Thanks!

Sportsfire and Streamfire bot have significant issues with buffering (or “Trying to Reconnect”, as they call it). Try Livenet TV (post 1.7.4), the streams eg WWE network usually work on that when the xxxxfire apps keep buffering.
After starting sports fire it asked to update but the update did not go thru there was a code on the app it did not work i also used Troy’s code it did not work also anybody knows how to do the update? Thanks
Sportsfire pretty much sucks right now . Maybe they will work on it .
Most of these Free Live Sports Apps suck and always have. Totally unreliable. Best to get a paid unverified IPTV service for Live Tv/Sports

Apparently when the xxxfire family updates you need to enter a new url # in Downloader. Currently the codes are:
StreamFire - 3514876
SportsFire - 4585605
If using fire stick i have to turn my VPN off otherwise all apps not found
BigDave, I have used the code you put up it did not work BTW this is the same code the app itself suggest to use. And Paddyboy57 I did turn off the SF but it didn’t work. Thanks guys for trying to help!!
