Tx for the video.

I ran total virus scan and it did report viruses in some user apps as well as in some system apps.

The virus is identified as trj-gen.r002v01iu23.

However the checkmark for all user apps and system apps following the scan are all green and none are red.

I reset my Firestick to factory default and reinstalled my apps from amazon and then reinstalled total virus from the TROYPOINT Toolbox.

I ran the scan and the same viruses are showing up in the Ipvanish app as well as the same system files identified prior to the factory reset.

I’m questioning whether the factory reset is reinstalling and overwriting the system files given the same viruses are still there?

I’m also wondering whether I should be concerned given the total virus app is reporting the apps as clear given the green check mark? I’m not sure how to proceed and your assistance would be appreciated.

I tried installing this on my NVIDIA stick. It appeared to install ok but I could not find the app in my applications menu. I looked at “all apps” under settings and it was there so I opened it from that menu. I tried to start the program but it stated no internet connection, even after disabling my VPN. I rebooted the NVIDIA stick, disabled my VPN but still could not find the app in my apps menu and the program still would not scan my apps. Uninstalled the app and reinstalled with the same results. Don’t know what’s going on.

go to your shield settings and select apps, all apps, you will find it there open that. then it will be with the rest of you apps on the homepage.
