How to remote control your Firestick / Android TV From Internet

Hi there,

I posted a video yesterday (preview) showing how I was away from home but still able to remote control my Nvidia Shield Pro & Fire TV cube.

The app is from RcloudSystems and should work on any Android based streaming device (I’ve also tested against my Onn 4K pro).

I will also post the full tutorial from the developer of the app.

I get all the way thru to deploy settings but I never see the Firestick screen they are taking about

Seems more complicated than Chinese arithmetic on a broken abacus! (I’m ready for the challenge…) :shaking_face:

They have new version and video..i have it working on 4 different device types.

I got it figured out.. If u didn’t get adb pop-up.. They were saying factory reset . No way..
Just clear data on adb shell and do it again.. And need to pay for license for each device

Thx so much Doc but I guess I’m buggered cause I only have MacBooks - no windows computers at all in my house and I don’t see an Apple option for install (unless I’ve missed something)

I know I could install windows on my Mac but I know I won’t.

I’ll just wait for the Apple version :+1:t3:

You could always run Windows in a virtual machine on your Mac

Thx Doc but I’m not a big fan of the virtual windows on Mac’s, I’ve ran them in the past only to have them glitch - and of course the glitches happen when you’re in the middle of something important :woozy_face:

It’s all good though Doc, I’ll just wait for the Mac version, if one comes out :+1:t3:
