How to Make a Kodi Fork & Publish for Download

Here’s the exact process that I go through to make a Kodi Fork and Publish for easy download/install through the Downloader app.

Important: The APK Editor app that I use in the video contains viruses but this isn’t a problem since I’m using it within an Android emulator that doesn’t contain anything important. DO NOT use the APK Editor App unless you are running it within an Emulator which confines it to that virtual environment.

If you scan the Kodi Forks that I make you will see that VirusTotal indicates two suspicious files. These are false positives and are a result of me re-signing the apps and not the original developer. In short, these Forks are clean.

the one question i have is can you make a fork that already has stuff loaded on kodi?

No Forks are just copies of Native KODI. If you want KODI that has “stuff loaded” there are several Builds to choose from

I am sure you could add the addons to the proper folders or at least repositories so installing addons would be easy. You would do this in the step where I change the photos. I haven’t gone that deep into this but I’m sure there is a way to do it.
