How to Install The Crew Kodi Addon on Firestick/Android

Ive mainly done cache and thumbprint clearing. Not sure what else to do. I think ive removed older video addons, but not sure if I did that right. How do you remove video addons? Do you need to delete the repositories too under file manager?

To remove addons or repositories
Settings, add-ons, my add-ons, video add-ons or add-on repositories.
Select a video add-on or a repository and then select uninstall.
I use maintenance wizard to clean up Kodi.
You can clear cache, clear packages and thumbnails.
I periodically clear packages and thumbnails, but not very often.
Clearing cache is only really needed when you are having issues.

Problems with watching tv episodes on Crew and Umbrella. With Crew, after the first few episodes the same episode plays no matter what episode I choose. Umbrella again begins with sound but the picture is frozen. Thank you in advance for your advice

I have finally given up on CREW watching this particular tv program. Umbrella still begins with sound, but the picture is frozen. I discovered that by unplugging the Onn box, waiting a few minutes , and then plugging it back in, the program works just fine. Then after 3 or 4 episodes (days), I have to do the sequence again. Do I need a new Onn box?

Need help. I installed The crew and when I try and get something I get no stream on no matter what I try and get. It uses to work, but no more.

I used The Crew for about 2 years and it was Flawless. I switched to Umbrella about a year ago and recently also added Fenlight AM. Both are working great. I just googled to see if the Crew was dead and this was the top result

Happened again last night. Found the link to watch a tv program, but at the start the sound begins, but the picture freezes. Had to turn the tv off, unplug the ONN box for a couple minutes, plug it back in, find the same link and the program runs perfectly. Everything works fine for a few days, then the issue happens again. Is there a solution?

@hammer which ONN box are you using?

Just a suggestion, try clearing your cache.

ONN 4K Pro. Thanks for responding. I clean my cache every week for all my apps on the ONN.

Now I am really stymied. Last night when trying to view the same series, the sound and picture both quit. Message says that I am not connected to the internet. After several unplugging and restarts, the Onn 4K Pro box finally started working and we could watch an episode. I checked all the other tv’s in our home and all worked, iPhones worked, computer worked, all were connected to the internet while the onn was not. Very strange. I have a new Onn 4K Plus that I have put off settling up. Will think that one over soon.

Try changing you VPN to different city/country.

“Input stream failed to install a dependency” so it keeps failing i’m running a Nwith a VIDIA Pro with a 512GBT stick.

So, what to do?? Thanks , Archie2

My Opinion of “What to do”: Delete the Crew and Install Umbrella add on with Coco Scrapers Module. Test it to see that it works good, Then add The Gears add on as a second way to obtain viewable content. Of course implement the Debrid service of your choice (I use Premiumize :dizzy:) Good Luck and Safe Streams!

What @Reece said. You may also want to install FenLite AM (also uses the blazing cocoscrapers) in addition

You folks are the best!! Sincerely appreciate the insights. Is there a special https:// link for these programs like for Crew??
Thanks,

Archie2

@ARCHIE2 If you go up to the left column, there should be a “Troypoint Site” option. Tab on that option, which will open Troypoint. Then if you go up to the right corner you should notice a magnifying glass. Tab on that which will open a search box. Put in Umbrella or Fen LiteAM. You will be led to Troy’s wonderful tutorial on how to install and get the best use of these Addons.

(NOTE:) The Crew is now defunct and pretty much unusable.

The last 3 nights, I bring up both Umbrella and Crew and get the same results.
I select a series and then the episode and it will show all the RD listings but when
I select one to play, it just keeps spinning. No matter which stream I choose.
Of course I reset my ONN, cleared the cache and nothing changed?

any ideas?

Make sure your RD account is up to date.

I just checked my RD in Umbrella and it is working fine. I am watching a show as I type this. Like JPM69 suggested, check to make sure your RD account is up to date.

I had to reinstall Kodi today and the Crew is not installing. It says that some dependencies are not installing. I’ve tried 3 times now, with the final time getting to 75% before it stopped. Suggestions?
