I downloaded version 1.9.3 and its running much better. I also, downloaded updated version MXPlayer Pro from TP Toolbox. I like this version of MX so much better. All the commands are at bottom of screen. Streaming on Stremio.
Searching and struggling on how to add my existing Trakt account to Stremio.
Log into your trakt account that you should have on your device with Stremio, open Stremio>settings>click on trakt scrobbling>authenticate and wait for the minute or two it will take to authenticate and load it in Stremio.
Hi Miki. If someday I figure out how to get links in Stremio, do I need tract if I have Real Debrid? I’m also back on my firestick from Onn4K for now because it’s working great and I’m familiar with it,and Onn was much lower volume and glitchy. Also Kodi Xenon is working for me, just steer me again to info on how to install addons for Kodi. Thanks, Tom

So how is everyone liking the new Stremio 1.9.3 update? It totlly threw me off as mine had auto updated, they made several changes. Will take me a minute or two to adapt to the new look. Overall I like it so far.
Seems to have fixed some issues. Adding some features. Fingers crossed.
Trakt and RD are 2 different animals. Trakt tracks and organizes your shows, movies and their progress. RD, Premiumize and Torbox provide the links to watch stuff. You can survive without Trakt but you gotta have a debrid service like RD, Torbox or Premiumize to get any content.
I have a question. I currently have a ONN plus box. I downloaded stremio via the TROYPOINT toolbox. The latest version. Every time I open it up it crashes immediately. I need help as to why this is happening and what can I do to fix this. I signed into my Stremio account but soon as I open it up again it crashes. What do i need to do to fix this. Help !!
Delete the Stremio you have, turn off your vpn, download and install it again, turn your VPN on and if it’s SurfShark, turn off your clean web feature and then try stremio again. If that doesn’t work for you try 
and see if that works for you. Also make sure you have disabled Google play protect.

Playback error has become very common lately. When I leave Stremio and go to regular content I disengage Surfshark, I must do this to play local geo content. When I launch gain I get IO error msg. I go to settings, stop, flush Cache, go to SS and pick a new USA City. Stremio starts to work fine. Often now, you will hear, streaming has become cat and mouse. If we do not accept this it will drive us crazy. Once the correct link is set, Stremio works like a champ automatically paying the next episode in a series no problem. Every day more IP addresses are being blocked by ISP, I am in Canada and no way can I get Stremio working vis VPN with CDN City, I could care less if you tell you can, I only use what works here…What works/works. Often I can get Stremio to work by just switching Cities without clearing cache.
Caution, just clear cache, not settings. Once you clear settings you will setup Stremio from scratch.
I am also in Canada and use a VPN religiously. I have absolutely no problem with servers in Vancouver or Montreal with Nord. I use Stremio for about 4 hrs a night and haven’t missed anything. Troy mentioned about SurfShark having more and more issues with their VPN addresses being blocked. Nothing to do with Stremio, especially after the two latest updates.
I am in Pennsylvania and use Stremio with Surfshark every day. I occasionally have a problem but switching Surfshark server always solves it.
I realize I am activating an old post. I followed all the steps on the installation. Yesterday I put Stremio on multiple devices with multiple environments with all having the same outcome. I went and got a Onn 4K plus, I put it on a firestick, and 2 laptops, one with Windows 11 and one with Linux Mint. All have done the same thing. Since I know nothing about Stremio I just did what was in your guide and have not added any new add-ons. I can pick something to watch and it will open a page for it but nothing happens. It just has a picture of the program/movie and never starts.
