How do you select “Just Player” as the external player in Stremio, as the only option I see is VLC player?
Under Stremio settings, I selected external player. Just Player appeared along with VLC.
Ah, OK, thanks. I guess you need to have it installed to be seen. MX player apparently needn’t apply!
go to settings then playback then tunneled playback. This works for me like Miki said.
What exactly is “tunneled” playback?
Miki explained it earlier in this post. Kind of like a direct link without without any diversions.
Tunneled playback is where the video bypasses your GPU and goes directly to your tv to do the processing. This is a very basic explanation as there’s more to it than that but that’s the general idea.
So, in my case, I have a 20 year old, dumb, Panasonic, Plasma TV. Should I use tunneled playback or let the streamer do the video processing?
Try it both ways and see what works best for you.
Installed JustPlayer today - no difference. Stremio seems to be having some real issues today.
So far it’s worked to stop some issues for me. But you’re right. It’s a mess. Losing Torrentio debrid addons. Others not fully functioning. STRMR working better than Stremio at the moment.
I’m not have any issues with Stemio + JustPlayer though Comet is only available. Also noted if I have select a link and doesn’t work, I’d need to select another link.

probably to have their GUI look more like KODI !
