How to Install & Setup Stremio on Firestick/Android

Why do some add-onns/Apps find Real Debrid streams when others don’t (when they are scraping the same RD servers)?

Not sure but Torrentio is an indexer and only searches for torrent links and doesn’t host files.

“Lest we forget”

But not sure that answers my question? I’m assuming we are talking about the same Torrentio right? And if the Dev shut it down why is it still working in KODI?

Depends what scrapers the app add-on uses or has available. Does it have options to use different scrapers and have you installed and configured them.

Torrentio was working this morning in Stremio but is down again. Yes there are lots of still working addons for sources.

Like I said I am not sure why you were seeing links but it may not have been fully down or maybe before the DDos attack that caused it to go offline.
It looks like it was working intermittently for some from Reddit posts.
I have noticed Torrentio is finding a lot less links today than I would normally see but it is still finding some links for now.

I can’t mention the show but I just tested it again. There are 15 playable sources in the episode I chose. All 4K and 1080P in Umbrella. And all of them are Torrentio and all playing flawless.

As I mentioned am seeing links that Torrentio is finding.
On the Torrentio subreddit some are reporting that it is working and some are saying it’s not.
It would seem the VPS is not fully offline.

I am also having issues with Torrentio on Stremio. I followed TP’s video, and linked my real-debrid account, but on my ONN streaming stick it only loads the streaming platform sources. On my laptop that I used to connect Torrentio, it loads the RD links immediately. I tried searching the forums but no luck. Has anyone else had this issue?

I had a lot of trouble about a week ago, but it is now working with the Premiumize links.

My first suggestion would be to try different VPN locations, especially outside the US.

I found Montreal or Netherlands for the VPN to give me the most stable speed. Montreal is my prime location as my VPN server is less than 300 miles from the premiumize server, the OVH North America High Performance is the one that gives me the best speeds with a stable feed.

Is Debridio that Troy just posted an install guide for a potential Torrentio alternative for VOD movies and series with Premiumize ?? I see it has other capabilities beyond Torrentio and cost $9.99 a year. Torrentio has been great ,with few exceptions, but just looking for a potential backup to link Premiumize with Stremio if something happens in the future to Torrentio.

Just use another addon like comet or media fusion and authorize premiumize in the addon settings. I can’t comment on Troy’s post as I haven’t taken the time to onstall and test it. I would read Troy’s tutorial from beginning to end. Troy always gives you his honest opinion.

Is there a free version of media fusion ?

All addons are free in Stremio.

Thanks Miki. Got Media Fusion installed and configured. Did not see it as an available add-on within Stremio itself, but went to the media fusion website and got it configured and then installed.

Oh sorry I should have mentioned that community addons are not necessarily in the apps catalogue. Here is one of the latest catalogues.

Is there a way to determine when Stremeo is down? Getting a middleware error right now.

Do a search on the net. There are a number of sites like down detector that will tell you if Stremio is down. At this time it’s running just fine.
