Yes, whatever you can fit into your budget will help for sure, even if it’s one thing at a time….**the following is just to give ya an idea of options other than brand new-but the better the tablet the better your streaming experiance will be.
Users have reported successful installations and smooth operation on various tablets, including the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+, S9 FE+, Xiaomi Pad 5, and Lenovo Tab M10 FHD+. Even mid-range or older models like the Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 (with 3GB RAM) and the Fire HD 10 (2019) have been used effectively, though performance may vary.** Hopefully this helps you get started in the right direction
The wife is using a 5YR old Samsung tab and it works like a charm. If you want consistent good watching then my recommendation is a minimum of 50 down.
Get a burner email address (could someone please explain that a little bit? Do I register it with Google?
Uninstall /reinstall Stremio / reregister with the burner email. And Surfshark engaged.
New tablet. Could anyone recommend a 10-11 inch budget Android tablet?
New Internet deal.
FYI I can only send to you once a day
I’d very much like your thoughts on the above…
Edit: As I will only be using the burner in conjunction with Surfshark and Stremio should I not swap 1 and 2. Get the burner/buy Surfshark /reregister new account with Stremio in that order?
2/* when i first got protonmail i used all fake info, not sure if it’s still the same now
3/ no need to involve google in your proton mail
4/ Streamio and Tablet questions i will leave to the experts here
5/ Internet deals are always around, it pays to shop/compare….no need to ever be locked into a long contract with any of them….i have T-Mobile Home Internet $50month, no limits and very happy with the service….
6/ Surfshark is a good choice, be sure and use Troys discount in the TROYPOINT Toolbox for the best deal
So, i’ve now got Surfshark. When active it won’t let me cast with either VLC or MX player. When turned off Stremio works for 10 minutes or so, shuts dowm, restart, rince and repeat. You get the idea…
I haven’t figured out how the ‘configure torrentio and install’ bit yet but i’m working on it.
I assume when I do the above will resolve itself? Yes
It’s as easy as going line by line and choosing your options. Once you get to your Debrid choice you choose what you want and then they even give you a clickable link to copy/paste your API key. Then install.
I just wish there was someone looking over my shoulder to tell me what I’m doing wrong…
Edit: Having thought that through do you think there might be someone here who would zoom (or other) with me? I’ve never tried that but would like to!
Also, am I supposed to uninstall torrentio from Stremio (Web) before trying to configure and reinstall it all in the new Stremio account on Chrome? How do I use my Surfshark I D to do that?
FYI i seem to have had gender reassignment surgery and my name is now Deborah!
Read, watch the vid, then watch it a second time. Have a notepad and pen handy to take notes. Pause the video often and rewind if needed to go over a specific point or idea. It can take a few tries especially if some of the concepts are alien to you.
I got a “broken link” for the stremio community add on link on that was in the video. Am I doing something wrong or did something change? what is the Community add on link to use please?
Miki. Looking at Proton and it has a built in VPN! Does this not make Surfshark redundant?
Phew! OK all sighed up to Proton, recovery set.
Progress!!!
Little bit shaky right now. I will (ofcourse) watch the video you kindly sent.
One question. When on Stremio (chrome) to set up torrentio!, I sighn on using proton. Do I uninstall torrentio before configuration, configure torrentio and reinstall it on the new Stremio account?Have I got that right?
You setup Torrentio on the device, like a tablet or laptop, where you have Stremio installed. Once set up you simply install it and then it will be automatically installed into Stremio and be available to use for the account you installed it to. So for each debrid service you can install a new instance of Torrentio. So for say real debrid you will end up with TorrentioRD+ As for Proton, it doesn’t have a built in VPN. You have to buy the package that has the Mail, VPN, password locker, and cloud storage and install and configure each app separately.
Actually @Miki , even with a free Proton mail acc. you get a 1 device 10 countries free VPN….so it’s limited but it is there….i still use one on my win7 machine as most others have dropped support for 7, even surfshark did, that’s why i tried proton and so far still working…yea for me there, but for my Sony big screen, which to put it nicely decided last nite to go on vacation….sooooooooooo
Ahh yes I forgot about the free VPN. I never used it as the servers were always filled close to capacity and that resulted in more buffering than it was worth. Thanks for the assistance @itzme and good morning.
Try a different country VPN server. For instance I sometimes get a block by cloudflare using a Canadian VPN server location so then I switch to a US server and it works just fine.
Hi, I’m now in Albania (virtual). I’m not being blocked but while the page does refresh nothing else happens… Or ‘paste into stremio search bar after clicking install ‘
Paste what exactly? Again, please forgive my ignorance…
