How to Install & Set Up Torrentio Stremio Addon

719 reports of problems in a month, and they must have a half a million or more ppl using them every day. Not bad at all.

Therefore, 719 is 0.1438% of 500,000 over the whole 30 days….or
719 :divide: 30 = 23.9666666666/ so let’s call it 24 per day = 0.0048 percent
Therefore, 24 is 0.0048 percent of 500,000. This result can also be derived by recognizing that 1% of 500,000 is 5,000, so 24 is a very small fraction of that value.

Try this one. AIOStreams | ElfHosted - Stremio Addons

Add Knaben, StremThru, Zilian, Torbox, Comet, Media Fusion.

Keep Torrentio in a separate addon, or use an instance that allows it.

It searches all of those addons, literally No chance they’ll all be down at once, unless there’s a Cloudflare outage, Lol.

And of all of the people reporting performance issues, how many of them didn’t set it up correctly or have a weak internet connection? A lot of variables that need to be considered.

I prefer the other site for AIOStreams site (AIOStreams-No ELF) as it will allow you to add Torrentio. Also has the MediaFusion addon that doesn’t have a rate limit.

Well, given all the issues reported on this site, too, I don’t think that is really the case.

Hello there, so I’m trying to install torrentio /Real debrid onto Stremio but only have an android tablet… I’m an ignorant dyslexic silver surfer… Please advise.

Make sure you install Stremio onto your tablet and then open it and log into your account. Then on the following link open the Torrentio addon and configure it then at the bottom hit the install button.

Or, even better, install it on a windows PC and then sync it with your tablets, etc.

Exactly. No matter what device you do the addon configuration on it will apply to all of your Stremio installs that you are logged into. Tablet, streamer laptop or desktop. Many options.

Hello Mika and thank you so much for your response. Is the Real Debrid thing not necessary?

Also I’ve been told to always use a VPN when using Stremio.., your thoughts?

Please be aware I’m on a rather old Android tablet if it matters.

Edit: Is Riseup VPN sufficient. I already have it.

I always use a VPN and always have. Better safe than sorry IMHO. I haven’t heard of riseup VPN so I can’t comment on the service. A debrid service isn’t really needed but does give you a good quality option for cached sources.

Just my thoughts, is rise up VPN a free service . If so I would stay away from them. Pay for a service. With stremio, if you use a debrid service like RD, it’s safer ,without it. You could be seeding torrents and get involved in copyright infringement. And you want to stay safe when you’re doing this.

@Serendipity_7 ….i think what @Miki and @Explorer have mentioned is valid advice….use a VPN, and make that VPN from a company that ā€œIS IN the VPN businessā€. @TROYPOINT has a deal going on now for SurfShark VPN that’s about $0.07 a day….click on the blue TROYPOINT Toolbox link go right to the deal…. :down_arrow: :down_arrow: :down_arrow:

I want to thank you all for your kind words of wisdom. I will get Surfshark.

Another question :To stream Stremio. VLC or other?

Edit: I’ve just done a Speedtest. It’s only 10~11 Mbps. Will that be a problem?

@Serendipity_7 , 10~11 Mbps is kinda low…so…a few questions….

1-is a ā€˜rather old Android tablet’ your only option for everything?
2-how old is your tablet, and do you know what version of Android it is?
3-which program did you use for your speedtest?
4-was the speedtest done with or without a VPN running?

Stremio has it’s own internal player. Exoplayer it’s called. @itzme is correct. Those speeds are a little slow. Is that a limitation by your ISP? Can you get better speeds from your Internet Service Provider?
