i’ve tried to install jacktook when i try the kodi permission i don’t get allow to all files i just get storage allow or deny so i can’t get it onto my kodi please help
It sounds like you are missing one click or step in the permissions process.
Make sure you click on the storage icon, which should open another sub menu which should allow you to select the all files option.
when i click on the storage icon in kodi it just switches from allow and deny that’s it
I have had same issue with jack took and elementum on my nvideo shield i cannot get a file to show up after i click external storage then choose the downloader file and i have given permission to downloader and kodi
The last couple of days I get a pop-up on Kodi saying there’s an update available for JACKTOOK. Does anyone know how to update it, I have auto update on. I tried Troys downloader code but I get the same version 0.2.6
Don’t know anything about that Addon but go into the addon settings and see if there is an update available. Also make sure “Auto Updates” is turned on
Auto is turned on but it still won’t. Not showing any updates available and when I go right to the repo and click on check for updates, still nothing.
Come to think of it I had that happen a few weeks ago with Umbrella and did the same thing as you. Couldn’t find anything. After a few days the message went away
This may have been tried already but if you go to the addon and long press and select “information” then select “versions”. You may have options to select a newer version.
By chance, i just tried this with Coalition and I am using 1.2.9. But there is a 1.3.0 version available. I maually updated and it worked.
Yes Auto Update was already on but i didn’t see the update message at startup. Just blindly selected the addon to test.
Tried this and it only shows the one version I already have.
Same thing here, today when I opened Kodi, I didn’t get a pop-up so I went and checked Jacktook version and sure enough it updated.
Same with me
