Wow, psychedelic!

Can you reconfigure Duckstream addons? My Duckstream results don’t show link info such as whether it’s 4K, hdr or Dolbyvision etc. And if you can how do you update it or do you have to re-add it to all your apps.

Hisense, and the soundbar is a sony.

You can certainly configure DuckStream addons by opening your DuckStreams panel, going to addons then to the right of the addon you want to configure you click the pencil to pen the config, then when done go to the bottom and update. Now if you go page by page in the config panel you will find the setup for you to make universal choices across all addons such as 1080 minimum and up or HDR or DV etc. and you can choose the displayed info. I use the Torrentio setup.

Please be aware though. The instructions I refer to are venturing onto the “Advanced” territory and until you fully understand DuckStreams I recommend everyone sticks to Troy’s video and tutorial as it will get you what you want, good streams included.

Just curious, I’ve recently installed the Torbox and Duck Streams add-ons in Stremio for a family member. Torbox is working fine and finding many available streams, but for some reason Duck Streams doesn’t seem to find any. It’s configured correctly, with the proper api’s for RD and TB integrated into the add-on. I did notice that when I completely turn off Surfshark, I begin to get some streams from Duck Streams. I don’t have this problem at all at my home and it’s set up the same way as it is for my family member. Did I miss something? Anyone have any ideas for me to check? Thanks :victory_hand:

Some VPNs block debrid and addon scraping. So it takes a few tries to find vpn locations that don’t do that. Also in SurfShark you need to turn off clean web or if you have them ad blockers. TorBox addon in Stremio will be discontinued come July 1st so you will only be able to use the API key in other addons.

Hello, see the videos on this page for help bypassing VPN blocks.

Thank you @Miki and @TROYPOINT for your insight and information. After reading your posts and tooling around a bit….problem solved. :victory_hand:

Looks like something has changed in DuckStreams. I use the advanced configuration but now a bunch of addons have suddenly stopped working. Sootio, MediaFusion, TorBox of course and others. Comet, Meteor and Torrentio still seem to be working although installing all those independently outside of DuckStreams the seem to work better. No idea what is going on. Seems to work better on Stremio and Nuvio seems to be much worse with more issues. So using Stremio for the time being. Hopefully we’ll find more out tomorrow.

I have been using Ducks’ set up on Nuvio STRMR and WuPlay, and have not noticed much difference. I have it set up using RD, TB and Debridio.

Gone for a huge dump in both Stremio and Nuvio, for me. Lots of failed addons.

Just looked I am on V 2.30.0 installed on 3.31.2026 That is in Wuplay and Nuvio. I do not have STRMR on the box I am using right now. I use it more on my phone, never realized how nice it was to have access to app like this and mytvonline Plus, until I started taking the ex-mother in law for cancer treatments and staying over night with her for observation.

All back to normal this morning. Looks like just some maintenance and changes with addons that either no longer work or have been discontinued like Sootio and TorBox.

Nope. Get an error code 404 could jot find the page. Tenor

I have been having trouble with both Stremio and Nuvio with getting any thing to play. I did the duck just recently and finally got a show to load on both platforms. However the picture is horrible on both. Any idea on how to improve the picture quality?

In order to get the best picture possible you must configure addons for higher resolutions. 720 and up at least. I always configure them for 1080 and up personally.
