How to Install Dream TV Addon on Kodi (One Click Live TV)

I previously installed it on my Firecube, but when I went to install it on my firestick in the bedroom, it didn’t work but I figured it out. I removed Mouse Toggle and then I was able to install it. Is there a way to convert a movie in Spanish to English?

I’m glad that you were able to fix the issue. Oh, and subtitles can translate Spanish to English.

Thanks for the rapid response.

Dream TV installed quickly and was working better than expected, no lag, no buffering, somethings not working but are there and maybe later installation will provide service on different subjects. One other thing, no place do I see a way to install RD…anyone see a place to connect RD or any other Debrid service?

You don’t need RD or any debrid with this addon. Thats the beauty of it.

Its its own mini kodi build. Live tv with international, movies, tv shows and sports.

Granted its has some viewing limitations but its pretty damn good.

Whatever is available on their servers is accessible to you.

I understand that but there are plenty of builds and addons that work by themselves but RD or some other debrid service always made them pull up more streams and just thought the same thing might be of Dream TV. So far I have no qualms about it, it’s pretty fast with no buffering or lagging. There are some points that don’t work but I suspect the addon is so new they’ll probably add to it in the future, maybe!

This is a good backup but nothing compares to Umbrella with Premiumize. Most movies I’ve played in Dream aren’t even 720p quality. I get tons of 4K and 1080p links with Umbrella.

Not used dream so not sure what scrapers it uses but this is the key that makes a good addon find quality links when using any Debrid service.

I dont know how Dream gets its streams but from my novice eyes it appears to be from an actual streaming service.

Each server has Account Information showing “currnet connections” and “allowed connections”. Even has an Expiration date.

So all the viewable content seems to be from 1 source. Not being scrapped like a debrid.

A post was merged into an existing topic: Internet Archive Game Launcher

Quite impressed. Even has local stations from my location of nowhere, USA! Probably won’t last long, but makes me happy short term!

Works great except for subtitles.

Can’t get them to work.

To enable subtitles for Dream TV on Kodi, you’ll need to install a subtitle addon and configure it to work with the Dream TV addon during playback. Popular subtitle addons include OpenSubtitles.com, a4kSubtitles, and others from the Kodi Omega addon repository. You can then adjust subtitle settings within the Kodi interface during playback.

welcome

Ok. So if I open the add-on browser, click on “My addons”, click on Subtitles, I see A4Ksubtitles, addic7ed.cxx, opensubtitles.cxx. and subscene subtitles. All enabled.

When I click on a movie or series with the Dream Tv addon, each of these except Opensubtitles.cxx show No subtitles found. When I search opensubtitles, I get 50 subtitles found. None of those have anything to do with the show I’m trying to watch

What am I doing wrong?

If you’re using the Dream addon for live TV, then subtitles won’t be available in the various subtitle add-ons.
The subs on those are files ripped from Blu-ray, DVD or streams from Hulu, HBO, etc.

@Maynard, are subtitles working on other Kodi addons that you are currently using?

Yes, I’ve had no issues with subtitles on any other addon.

Ok, so that most likely means that your subtitle addons are set up correctly in Kodi. I do know that quite a few movies and TV shows haven’t been set up for subtitles.

Maybe just to test it out, find a common (popular) movie, in another addon, that has working subtitles. Then test that same movie with Dream TV to see if will produce the subtitles. On my end I will try that out to see what happens.

Ok, so I tested a few movies that offered subtitles with my Fen addon. But when I tried the same movies on the Dream TV addon, none of them offered subtitles. Please correct me if I am mistaken, but my thinking is that Dream TV isn’t set up for subtitles, even though my testing was fairly simple.
