The following tutorial shows how to install the Comet Kodi Addon on any compatible device. Comet is a well-known scraper add-on that gained a massive following among Stremio users. The developer (g0ldyy) has now released an official Kodi add-on so users can enjoy the same streaming experience inside Kodi. We first spotted this announcement on…
@PapaS Come in please…are you gonna install this? I feel too lazy to deal with it but don’t want to miss out. Please advise. You too @SoloWarrior.
Nope. I have Umbrella and Fenlite AM.
I really like how FenLite AM displays the thumbnails and shows the little count in the corner of each SERIES on how many episodes there are and how many you’ve watched. Perhaps you can make other add ons display like this but I don’t know how. Plus, FenLite AM updates almost every day. Great stuff.
Just set it up and works. Linked with RD, PM and Torbox. Have to test more, different than other addons. I do get an error message saying I need Elementum to play but most stuff I’ve tried plays and I don’t have Elementum. First thing that stands out is there is no link info, file sizes, HDR or not, Dolby or not.
If this is the same Comet available for Stremio, well, it’s crap there - never any working streams (same with Media Fusion). Not sure how it works on Kodi given my experience with Stremio/RD
My Comet I rely on for good sources. I have all 3 of my Debrids authorized in it. When other addons can’t find streams I can count on Comet. I also have it added in Duck Streams and use the sources it finds there as well.
I only have one debrid provider, Real-Debrid. Never got a single stream off Comet or Media fusion (I get plenty on Torrentio when it work and Torz when it doesn’t). Am I doing something wrong?
No idea. Comet works great for me. I just went line by line in the setup and installed it.
Tried to set up Comet on Kodi three times. Each time the set up code was no good, obsolete
The code is probably timing out.
I ended up getting the web page set up first then getting the code from Kodi and entering the code on the web page then clicking install on the web page.
Comet RD and Media Fusion RD both work well for me.
Im setting up Comet in Kodi with Premiumize. Hope it works as I’m looking forward to testing it.
It is brand new so it’s likely the dev is still troubleshooting things
Im goin to try it on a cheap box (Leffot) I snaggd off Amazon. It has 4gb ram and Android 14. Only 100mb ethernet but thats good enough for testing. Cheap device but its still pretty snappy and Kodi works good on it. I WAS going to get another Onn but those are unobtainium at the present.
It took me an hour to install this add-on and it does absolutely nothing. Just keeps saying I need to install Elementum, and the Dependencies menu says Elementum is not available. I won’t uninstall this because I never want to go through the hassle of installing it again, just in case it does have some miracle cure in the future.
Sounds like a lot of work ![]()
If you go through the step by step process I outline in the tutorial, it is not required to have Elementum - How to Install Comet Kodi Addon (Just Released)
So I decided today to try this again. I don’t know what I did wrong the first time but the second attempt went much better. No longer getting Elementum error that I was getting on my first install attempt and now the links are displaying all the info like size, HDR or not. Links come up very quickly, lots of 4k. For a simple little addon it seems quite interesting
I like it.![]()
@PapaS PapaS APPROVED! Doesn’t get any better than that. I’m not doing it but knowing he approved it lends comfort if I get a wild hair TO DO IT.
