I agree with the above. It is in the Play store. Any device that you are using that has Google Play store should have it. All of the ONN Boxes will have it in their place store as well.
I knew it was in the Play Store. But I was surprised when opened my new Shield box and the Companion App came at me like a Jack in the box. So I figured I was supposed to run it first. And I really wrote this reply to apologize to who ever it may concern for being out of place with the email that I previously sent.
Any way , when I saw the big Google sign that said Companion app in my Shield box, I was surprised and glad. I figured I could stop making up new email and password word names. I didn’t have any issue getting my 1 year premium plan with Tmate. I found a small ONN box that I had forgot I even had for the bedroom. And the new Nvid box for the living room. Now, I can watch a few channels but they don’t last for long. Now no matter what I am watching, it only stays on for a short time and Tmate shuts down and goes straight to the Home Screen. I don’t know who to blame. Tmate, Companion, or Google. By the time I figure this stuff out, my Premium time will be up.
I have a lifetime sub of Tivimate. No idea why yours is shutting down. I never run it without an active VPN. Make sure to turn off play protect and disable app scanning.
