I attempted this on my Shield Pro using localhost and got an odd error with ADB shell. In order to get around this I had to go into developer options, scroll down to “Network debugging” and use the address listed there. Then it worked like a dream. Tx as always troy.

I’m stuck on the remote ADB Shell step. I typed in Local Host and kept it 5555 but I get a “connection failed” error. How do I get pass this step?

This is usually due to not having USB debugging enabled.

I finally got into the remote ADB Shell app by turning on USB Debugging and after connecting tried to remove the extra user info account which gave me the following error using the pm remove-user 10 command.I even tried the number listed in the new_user line with the same result.

Unknown command: remove

Apparently this is bringing up an error code of 255 following the Unknown command: remove line

My first line in the ADB Shell was listed as YOC/ $ before I input the pm list users command which brought up two lines of UserInfo

Am I doing something wrong or is my Android Box failing ??? The ADB shell is being run from internal storage.
