The more I use Linux Mint, the more I realize there aren’t nearly as many limitations versus Windows as I thought there were. This was one of the best recommendations I have ever received while being a TP member…thanks again @TXRon.

On my main computer I use mint on a arch linux system but on my laptop I use linuxmint and I always tell newbies to try linuxmint because its so well put together and user friendly. The first step is the hardest

TXRon, This problem may interest you. Thanks in advance for any help. It may be a problem with a linux setting or a phone setting. I’ve spent hours looking for a solution and am now asking for help:
On linux my samsung phone gallery doesn’t show up with usb charge and data cable connected. The phone sees the gallery and a different Windows 11 PC also sees the gallery with a usb charge and data cable connected. I get these messages: "unable to open a folder…Object dpes mpt exost at “/org/gtk/vfs/mount/1” and “Could not display “mtp://SAMSUNG_SAMSUNG_Android_R5CTBOEZO0D”…The location is not a folder.”
Any suggestions???

sounds like a permission issue within linux
