Now that’s a useful app, Thanx
@TROYPOINT the lack of readers and lack of comment on this excellent tutorial is baffling to me. This is a must for many insiders. Perhaps it’s the subject line?
I suggest changing to something along the line of:
ONN 4k users - How to Adjust the screen size
Interesting I have 2 ONN boxes and have never needed to adjust screen size for any App. Assuming this is the same for most and probably why there are no comments on this? Can you give me an example of an App where this might be needed?
well it’s not just onn boxes that sometimes have aspect ratio issues. I have experienced it with various other android boxes. tivimate is one that sometimes over fills the screen.
I noticed right away on VPN Monitor Dot plus occasional CC block. I realize @MarkxG doesn’t use either VPN or Dot, however most folks use them.
My ISP is Sparklight who gives via email (in writing) that they don’t care where you go on the internet. It’s your choice. Yet, I still use a VPN. Analiti is another app that over ran the edges. You may need adjustments and not know it. As far as interest goes, I attached this tutorial to a previous post that had 499 reads, so the interest is there!
As an aside, the FCC, FTC, & SEC were all independent agencies immune from over reach. As of Feb 18th all three are now subject to Executive Branch review and control. USPS joined the group on Feb 21st. Agency actions can be delayed by the courts, Executive actions follow a different path. I live in Texas where the State blocks or places such tight restrictions as to render some sites unreachable.
In short, you may want to reconsider your stance on VPN use!
I have a VPN and use it at times but never for streaming. Not needed IMO. I used it yesterday to fake out Spotify and created a cheap Premium account for almost 600% cheaper by having an Indian Spotify account. Once created VPN can be turned off Can still get all my music and playlists.
And yeah on my ONN box I have never needed to adjust the screen for anything. Analiti comes across full screen like everything else and all other apps. I do understand there may be a need on other boxes however but I was specifically referring to the ONN box
I also live in Texas and yes most of the Porn sites are blocked out now
Does anyone know how to resize the screen on Walmart onn box? Needs to be smaller to fit tv screen. Cannot find “calibrate display” in the display & sound settings like on firesticks.
This has been posted please use our search.
I think for AndroidTV you will be looking for “screen scaling”. Different name but same thing. So do a search for that and you should be g2g. I did a couple of hours research and found that the latest Onn may not have screen scaling. That is odd indeed if it’s true.
Here is how to do it. It works!
