I use my google account for my tv devices, old tablet and phone. Oh and I can see my gmail on my PC too…:grimacing:

Should i really be using different accounts for each? Is this more of a Big Bro is watching everything you type/read/search sort of thing? I do use DDG as my phone browser.

I use Gmail on PC, phone, and tablet. BUT I don’t use Google syncing it’s turned off. You can be logged into your Google Account (I am) BUT syncing is turned off . You need to know the difference. I do want to get my Gmail on my phone but I DON’T need everything on my PC synced to my phone so it is turned off. Has nothing to do with Big Brother but if you ever lost your phone and syncing is turned on that might not be a good thing

Gotcha. So do i turn it off once or each device separately? I may have this already set up but i really don’t remember. 95% of my Google stuff is done on my phone anyway.

Depends on how your Gmail is setup on your phone. I do NOT like or use Native Gmail on either my PC or phone. On the PC i run it through Outlook and on my iPhone I run it through the iPhone Mail. I could be wrong but I believe if you use the Gmail app and turn off syncing your email on your phone will stop syncing. BUT I also believe you can turn off syncing then sign back into your gmail on your phone. You may need to research this. BUT to turn it off on your PC just go to the 3 Vertical dots in top right of Chrome Broweser, select settings and toggle “turn off syncing”
