I’m another doubler. I’ve been using both for 3+ yrs with absolutely no issues. For me the benefit is being able to pick the best match for TV (4k/10+) Amp (Atmos/ or other) that has the lowest GB count. Just my $.02.

For my RD am thinking this way. “The show played last night for free and my DVR crashed. Therefore noticed it was on HULU or NETFLIX or other service. So decided to play it via RD. Did not know that was against the terms of service, to watch what my DVR failed to back up. “. At least tell myself this.
Just renewed my Real-Debrid after all the debacle a while back. What perturbed me was when purchasing 3 month subscription it said $10.49 US I used to use Amazon pay but I read somewhere and used my PayPal debit card which I always had at a 0 balance. You can transfer money to your PayPal balance which is your PayPal debit card. I used that so in the future if I was billed again or my debit card number was stolen if there’s zero money or even a couple of dollars in that account that balance account does not withdraw money from anywhere else it’s only if you have it in that PayPal balance. My perturbed problem was it was not $10.49 like they said it was $10.51 they kept billing so I thought there was a problem I wasn’t checking my emails which they did PayPal that is send me that it was declined. So on PayPal website I saw something that said they were billing for $10.51 but because of all that I ended up going to that privacy.com before knowing the problem they wanted my social security # cuz they couldn’t identify me. But just wanted to let everybody know I guess it would have been best if I just put in $11 it would have covered it instead of relying on the price listed at real Debrids website never had that problem in the past. But also just in the last couple days of having it again I was getting a box coming up with an error code that gave the option to go to settings but never explained where to go in settings to correct it. So if anybody knows why these error codes are coming up I would appreciate if you could let me know. How to fix. I was able to play some streams but not all RD was playing kept coming up an error code like 451. I looked up in the search and nobody’s really talking about real debrid anymore and no more topics are listed. Y’all have a good day.
Not sure what the “debacle” was. Been using Real Debrid for about 8 years. I pay with a personal credit card and never had an issue. Hope you get it sorted out
Last December, RD went rogue(!) with a couple of outrageous claims that would have made it useless for streaming from the web. They apparently did this to be PC and still allow these connections.
Okay yeah I remember that. It was pretty much a big nothing Burger IMO. I thought he was referring to something that was actually an issue. Thank you for the clarification

They also berated customers with foul language and would not give them a refund so I was hesitant to renew my subscription. Well I did but I guess my issue is with real-debrid when their website says $10.49 and they kept billing me for $10.51 that caused the problem when I found out this I just added another $1 to my PayPal balance. I’ve in the past had RD for years also. But nobody mentioned anything about the error codes 451and others I’ve been getting since I renewed like when I click on a RD link in Cinema. That I’ve not seen before. That seems to be issues like you mentioned that I was maybe referring to. Hope you have a great day.
