Kodi is my go-to for streaming–more than any other available app. My cube has not yet updated to the most recent version. Any proactive measure I can take to preserve my device?
I am trying Netguard, I hardly post here so I’m treading softly. But I installed it exactly how they said and it wouldn’t update after I tried to manually do it. It went through it’s procedure, stopped after about 3 minutes and that was it. Stayed on the version it was on. Hope this helps! Google it, I don’t think I can give out the Downloader code here.
You can download Kodi on play store and I do believe Amazon. So it’s a Media center I listen to music and home videos. That would be a Shane for that to happen
Amazon removed Kodi from their App Store due to piracy concerns.
Hi Randy you want to preserve your firestick, you have to go to settings on your box/stick. go to preferences and then to privacy settings. you may want to turn off sharing apps with Amazon option. If you do not see an option to do that, then update your device until you see that option, then automatically turn that off. if you ignore this and your device updates on its own then it may be too late to stop the deleting of the apps you uninstalled through 3rd party. Let me know how it worked out for you. i have already done it and no apps were deleted from my device.
As of 7/3 Kodi is still available in the Play Store.
As far as I know, Amazon removed it from their App Store.
I don’t own a Amazon device to check it
