How can I transfer programs from one firestick to a different firestick?
Tis has been answered before, try using our search. You cant clone the stick, but you can use our rai and send apps from one stick to another or from your phone to the stick. Just installe the rai and you can install what you need in no time.
What is rai? Iâm new to this cord cutting world.
I got it RAI, I know what RAI is .
Thanks
Youâre welcome! Rapid app installer
Iâve searched but cannot find the topic anywhere.
For transferring apps to a fire stick? Oh there is alot of topics on this. I just looked.
I used every way I can think of and it comes back with not topic. Give a break and point me in the right direction.
Welcome! I found 35 topics when I searched. Good Luck!
Came up on the first search I did good luck donât give up
Iâm going to apologize for the group here.
Just for laughs I searched for about an hour, as was suggested, at all the topics that would âanswerâ directly about how to transfer apps from one FS to a second FS.
Nothing that I found would help a newbie out. The best answer that came up (and it was NOT the first thing listed) was a poster that said that he used Send Files AnywhereâŚexcept that it was not in quotes, capitalized, basically anything that would ID it as a file handling app or where and how to obtain it or how to use this app.
My advice to Fluffy: I wouldnât attempt to transfer apps from on FS to another.
Just doing a fresh install, using the RAI and then using Unlinked (from the RAI) will most likely get what you need with little muss or fuss.
Because you cant clone a stick, you use rai or send my file to tv⌠thats how you move apps from one device to another. The rai also works the same as send my files. Its the only way to do it. Which has been said alot.
Ok, trueâŚ
But, looking from a newbieâs POV, exactly HOW does âSend My File to TVâ operate?
And where do I get that app? And with no quotes, italics, bold font, etc, it is very tough for someone to decipher rai, send my file as apps in a sentence.
Also I wasnât aware that rai could be used to transfer apps.
Do you use the APK installer tab?
All I see there is a place to enter a urlâŚthatâs not transferring.
Again, look at the OP as a newbie.
Please stop lecturing me, there is videos, youtube and troypoint guides on this stuff. Im fully aware how a newbie would be lost on this and need instructions.
But if they have access to the rapid app installer, just install that on both sticks and do the same process on one to the other. As there is guides on how to use the rai plus a complete setup tutorial emailed to everyone who joins i really dont need to explain it.
If this user asked how to use send my files i would give a brief run down.
I have an excel sheet of all the apps that are important to me and how to install (or where to install from). That way i can always manually clone each box or stick. There may be more sophisticated ways, but that does the trick for me. I use rapid app installer for most of that list which makes the process super easy and convenient.
use adb app then back up one stick then restore to other one works fine
I agree that you should setup a new FS from scratch.
AMD,
Thatâs an excellent idea.
Or⌠Donât buy a fire stick and instead get something else. If you purchase before researching then youâre stuck with trying to figure it out and have to be patient.
Actually, I found a video that shows how to copy all your apps from one Fire TV Stick to another. Youâll have to purchase a couple of things from Amazon for about $20 but itâs worth it. Basically, your copying your apps from one stick to another similar to using Windows explorer.
However, youâll still have to use your login and password the first time you open each app.
Unfortunately, I found no way to Clone a Fire TV Stick but that would be a money making device if someone would create one.
Do a search for âHow to Clone a Fire TV Stick.â Find the one created by a young woman.
