Was a little surpried this wasn’t a topic yet. If it is I couldn’t find it.
Anyone watch or still watching this series?
I tried to like the first season and after a rewatch i liked it a little better but still had problems with it.
I waited for the first 5 episodes of this season to air before watching them all in a few nights.
I realize i dont care about any of these characters. Neither family is the “Good” side. There is no one likable and I dont care who gets the throne or if either do. The story line is really boring and predictable and action almost nonexistent. The “security” at these castles is laughable during a time of impending war.
For the record, i dont read the books and liked GoT until the embarrassing last season. I watch purely for entertainment and dont read blogs or articles about them afterwards.
Watched Game of Thrones and loved it. Watched House of Dragon Season One and loved it. Struggled through the first 4-5 episodes of the current season and hit the delete switch. Done with it. There’s simply too many characters trying to do the same thing. There is no cohesive plot. What a shame. Maybe the prolonged writers strike had something to do with it but this show went off the rails IMO
I’m still watching it,but season 2 episode 5 was one of the most boring episodes ever.I do agree that it’s hard to root for any of the characters though.It’s more like whom do you want to see eaten by a dragon least.
10000% Episode 5 is what got me to remove it from my Trakt Collection. None of the Players have the star power and Juice of a Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryn, the Lannisters, the Starks…and on and on and on…These characters are Boring!
I watch every episode and know that some may not be so full of suspense and excitement, as character storylines need to be added to, new characters introduced to expand the history, and invest in future episodes. I’m invested for the long run, just like my marriage. I look forward to what comes next.
