Headline says it all. Had a trakt account for about 6-7 years now. Suddenly today, I can’t get in. Don’t even want to think about a new account and trying to set up my collections and tv lists again. Any suggestions? HELP!!
What exactly is happening? You cant remember password? Using website or App?
Using website. Username and password have been unchanged for years and I have them saved in my browser info.
And what does it say when you try to log in?
It was saying bad password or email. Can’t gevw you the exact vebiage. Just now tried and got "gateway error code 502: So maybe it will fix itself (I hope)!
got back to login screen and got my old error message “Invalid email or password”
Try customer service?
Cant find contact info. Do you have it or point me in the right direction?
Look on the login screen. There should be a help section or area if you cant log in.

There are options to log in with Apple. Google and twitter too if you use the same email with that account.
Don’t know what email I used in setting it up. Have a username showing on the login screen
If you say you forgot password they should email you to the email address you registered with. You may have to play email roulette until you find it.
It’s been so long, there’s a good chance it was set up with an email account that has been dead for about 4 years now. Need to contact a real person on their end for some help
If you used an email that you no longer have my guess is you are out of luck. Best bet is to start from Scratch again with a new email address and new account
Well…here’s what I discovered. Trakt apparently changed their login procedures. I’ve always logged in under a username and password. Now Trakt wants an email address to login. Found out my old dead email still works for their login. As long as I never change my basic set up, I should be good! Dead email serves a purpose – who’d have thunk it!!

Can’t you change your email to a current one just in case?

Have same problem now too. Even when using email and password login. I’ve been getting a “account locked - contact CS”. Happening with setup of new add-ons (OneMoar & Umbrella). Also having issues with use of external scrapper Coco. Installs fine, but next the module doesn’t work and seems to have uninstalled itself. Then when trying to reinstall…says it isn’t a valid external provider…
Any thoughts? Cheers.
