Help please Fire stick / wireless problem

Experiencing a problem which may be Firestick or Xfinity related.

The problem occurs with YouTube, film Plus, and prime content. Amazon silk browser is not effected.

Unlike normal buffering in film Plus, video starts and then stops.

I unplugged both my wireless connection and the fire stick at different times and the problem gets better for a little bit and then comes back.

If anyone has any insight or information about this, I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Thank you,

M.

You probably need to clean the cache in the apps. And it helps to restart the stick and or router. Daily maintenance mandatory with sticks to keep optimal.

I’ve had several issues like this with the free streams on Film Plus. Are you using Real Debrid streams? Do you use a VPN?

Yes, I use real debrid and surf shark VPN.

Thank you for responding.

I do periodically restart the fire stick, unplugging it from the power strip. When there are problems I always unplug the wireless connection and restart that too.

I’ve gone through various applications and cleaned up the cashe on occasion. I also have fast task killer, which, in my understanding, releases memory in real time from applications you use the most.

I was thinking perhaps I need to buy a new fire stick, but again, I’m not certain if this is a fire stick problem or a Xfinity wireless connection problem.

Further insight or info is appreciated. Again, thanks for getting back to me,

M.
