My first thought when I read the original post was a kill switch issue that wasn’t allowing the wifi to connect. Anyway, glad you got it sorted!

Free EPG’s a waste of time IMO. Best to get a cheap paid unverified IPTV service. Search around lots of info here
I just reloaded my old 1st amazon 4k original fire stick with current Kodi and the diggz AIO from the mothballs deleted old Kodi yikes it works as well as my newer fire sticks that has Voice and volume on remote yep you need troy point downloader every now and then to update but over all iall fire sticks still works for me
