Looking forward to this:

Hope it will be good…BUT… it has been my experience that some movies are better left alone and do not lend well to be revisited, revamped, rehashed or even retried at all. Caddy Shack 2 comes to mind…what a waste that was.
When out of fresh ideas…REHASH…
Wow anyone know when it going to be released in theatres
I like Rodney but caddy 2 sure was a train wreck. But not as bad as “Cannonball Run 2” what a disaster, the first one wasn’t great by any means but 2 is unbearable. Had I been the only one watching, I’d have turned it off after 5 minutes. Kojak, Daisy Duke, Klinger, Jack Elam, Jaws, Mr. Furley, Khan, Sal Tessio, Hunter, Trampas, Elaine, The Baywatch Babe, Gomer AND Goober, and not even 3 members of The Rat Pack could save this turkey.
I hear that, I can’t believe how many remakes have just been SO disappointing. For example, who would even TRY to remake “Dirty Dancing” or “Roadhouse” or “Footloose” but someone sure did.
Agreed…The only consistently good movie series I have enjoyed is Alien and to a lesser extent Planet of the Apes. All the rest NO
Yes those are good, I didn’t mind the “Scream” franchise.
Don’t forget The Longest Yard. Absolutely no point in a remake.
Still in Production.
Caddyshack 2 was Jackie Mason…NOT Rodney Dangerfield.
No respect I tell ya…
You are correct, it was Mason. I somehow got it screwed up. Rodney wasn’t in 2, definitely one of the reasons why it bombed no doubt. Oops, my apologies to Rodney.
Apology accepted…
“Point Break” “Overboard”
Keanu and Kurt?
Indeed, no way to improve on those but yet they tried.
The “Brain Trusts” that are churning these bad remakes out, must think that a good script alone makes a hit movie.
